Teen Change Maker Conference is a virtual event created by trailblazing teens for innovative youth, equipping them to make a difference.
Orange County, CA - Amidst a global pandemic, four teens realized that Gen Z can change the world if they have the right resources to do it. The struggle to make an impact, through any medium, is the challenge of finding teen-specific resources on leadership, organization, marketing, and so much more. Millions of teens, they believe, want to make an impact, but don’t have the means to do so.
Daisy Noh (17), Emma Han (17), Avery Mizrahi (15), and Hailey Somphone (17) devoted themselves to combat this conflict, through the creation of the Teen Change Maker Conference (TCM Con). This five day, completely free, virtual event is aimed “to inspire, equip, and empower teens to make an impact.”
Events Manager, Avery Mizrahi, stated, “We are incredibly excited to offer resources to these fantastic teens. You know you are going to watch them change the world one day, and we get the opportunity to connect these kids to nonprofit organizations, marketing professionals, motivational speakers, and even other successful initiative-starting teens from around the world.”
Executive Co-Director, Daisy Noh, continues, “It all started when interviewing inspiring teen guests on my podcast, The Bright-Eyed, when I noticed that many teen initiative-starters didn’t have a lot of resources when they started out. TCM Con aims to change that. And because the conference is free and virtual, any teen with internet access can attend! That is what makes this so special”.
Executive Co-Director, Emma Han, comments, “We already have over 100 participants registered across the globe from within the US all the way to India and Turkey! With our speakers and teen panelists also being of a diverse background, it’s truly amazing to see so many come together to make a difference”.
The conference itself begins on July 26th and goes through July 30th, with registration closing on July 11th. The event’s virtual card (tcmcon.carrd.co) or instagram (@TeenChangeMakerCon) has more information about registering and attending.
